The Baron’s Noyse is an\u00a0early music consort. \u00a0We are primarily a group of hobbyists that play for our own enjoyment, and\u00a0available for occasional performances. Depending on who is available and the needs of a performance, there might be\u00a02 to 8 musicians playing.<\/p>\n

What’s early music?\u00a0 Sometimes we say we’re a cover band, playing the greatest hits and obscure rarities for the years 1175 to 1625.\u00a0 We play primarily recorder, but other instruments (gemshorn, cornemuse, viola da gamba, vielle a roue, pipe and tabor) may make appearances.<\/p>\n
