In 2006 we traveled to York, England, to participate in the quadrennial presentation of Mystery Plays.\u00a0 This was with the International Pipe and Tabor Festival, held that year in conjunction with York’s early music festival.\u00a0 We (the taborers) worked up music appropriate for the mystery plays, and accompanied them through the streets of the old city of York.<\/p>\n
It was a great experience, and I’m regretting I couldn’t participate this year (2010).\u00a0 Especially since as my taborer friends talk about this year’s edition, there are photos turning up from four years ago!\u00a0 And I want a place to keep track of them, hence this post.<\/p>\n
