The Baron’s Noyse is an early music consort.  We are primarily a group of hobbyists that play for our own enjoyment, and available for occasional performances. Depending on who is available and the needs of a performance, there might be 2 to 8 musicians playing.

What’s early music?  Sometimes we say we’re a cover band, playing the greatest hits and obscure rarities for the years 1175 to 1625.  We play primarily recorder, but other instruments (gemshorn, cornemuse, viola da gamba, vielle a roue, pipe and tabor) may make appearances.
